My baby girl turned 3 yesterday! I LOVE YOU SOL!

On a side not I will be going to Cabo tomorrow to second shot with my good friend Heather Banks!!! wohoooooooo for ME! I’ll be back in the office on Tuesday.
Here is PART 1 from Jennifer and Lenny’s wedding this past weekend at University United Methodist Church with the reception following at the Four Season Hotel. I’ll have more photos from the reception later this week but I will tell you that SAUCE played and that always makes for a CRAZY PARTY!!!! THANKS to Elizabeth from Caplan Miller Events for making this event flawless. Jennifer and Lenny I hope you are enjoying a much deserved honeymoon in MEXICO!

I was super excited when Debbie called to ask me if I would take pictures of her first grandchild Hunter! I had just photographer Holly’s (who is Debbie daughter) wedding this past March and Amanda is Holly’s sister in law who is Hunter’s mom. Ryan is the the eldest of the 4 siblings to Debbie and Randy that is married to Amanda. Wohooosss…. That’s lots of dots to connect but it gets more complicated because I photographed Amanda’s brothers wedding back in 2007! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! ok so we have the twins to go and then I’ll be completely happy.

With three sons and one daughter being “Mother of the Bride” instead of “Mother of the Groom” takes on an entirely different approach. You realize as MOG that you are to wait patiently until you are asked before expressing your opinion. But, as MOB…the pressure is on. Your opinion matters, not only to your precious daughter, but to all the vendors as well. My wedding experience as MOB was the best it could have ever been. I had a dear friend tell me, prior to our son’s wedding, “You will never do all the things you are doing right now with this child of yours, so do not stress. Make every appt an adventure and enjoy them. Enjoy the time you are spending with the soon to be married couple.” I took this to heart after she shared it with me prior to Ryan and Amanda’s wedding and remembered it every day in helping to plan Holly and Daniel’s wedding. From our Wedding Planner, to the Florist, to our wonderful Vanessa and her team, every meeting, phone call and especially the Big Event was a God-filled, fun-filled, family-filled adventure. I’ll never walk that road again so I was honored to walk it with those who put so much love and effort into making our only daughter’s wedding the unforgettable day that it was.

Katie and Adam had an amazing wedding this past weekend at Old Glory Ranch in Wimberly! I love Katie and Adam not only are they super sweet but they are incredibly fun….. these 2 sure know how to party! I know I’ve said this a million times but I love it when I get to photograph sisters weddings. Katie’s sister Becky got married in 2004 to Scott and I can’t pinpoint what wedding number that was exactly but it had to be one of my first… CRAZY!!!!! Here is PART 1 of this super COOL Hill Country Wedding! A special THANKS to Katie, Adam and their parents for making us feel like part of the family!!!!! PS.
